Our approach
SWIVTV takes intellectual property rights seriously. A valid notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, or a similar law in another country, is acted on promptly: the material it identifies is taken down or blocked from view.
Where notices go
Send notices to our designated copyright contact through the contact page or on our WhatsApp line, +212 663 813 479. Open the message with the words "DMCA notice" so it reaches the right person without delay; a notice may be typed into the chat or attached as a document.
What a notice has to include
A description of the copyrighted work that you believe has been infringed.
A description of the material said to infringe it, and exactly where on the Service it can be seen.
Your full name and postal address, a phone number and an email address.
Your statement, made in good faith, that the use you object to has no authorization from the copyright owner, the owner's agent or the law.
A declaration, made under penalty of perjury, that you hold the right in question or may act for whoever holds it, and that everything in the notice is accurate.
Your handwritten or electronic signature.
Timeline
A complete notice is confirmed as received within 2 business days, and the action it calls for is taken within 5 business days of its arrival. An incomplete notice goes back to the sender with a list of what is missing.
Disputing a removal
Anyone whose material was taken down and who believes that was an error may send a counter-notice to the same contact. It should carry the same identifying details as a notice, together with your statement under penalty of perjury that the material was taken down in error.
