SWIVTV – IPTV Subscription Set Up Once, Easy for Whoever Holds the Remote

The Three IPTV Login Details in Your WhatsApp Chat, and Where Each One Goes

The person watching should never see these three details. They exist for the few minutes you spend at the TV: a server address, a username and a password, sent to your WhatsApp chat the moment a SWIVTV plan goes live. Typed once into a player, they disappear behind the channel list and stay there. That is the whole idea of an Xtream Codes login, and it is why every SWIVTV account is issued this way: nearly every current IPTV player understands it, from IPTV Smarters and TiViMate to MyTVOnline on a Formuler. Below is what each part means, how to type it with a TV remote without a slip, and where to keep it afterwards.

Before you pick up the remote

  • The SWIVTV activation message in your WhatsApp chat
  • A player offering Xtream Codes (sometimes labeled Xtream API): IPTV Smarters, TiViMate, MyTVOnline
  • The TV's remote, and some patience with its on-screen keyboard
  • A quiet few minutes at the TV, since one wrong character is all it takes

The install, in one sitting

  1. Decide which of the three login shapes this screen takes

A SWIVTV plan arrives in three shapes, and each device takes one of them. An app with an Xtream Codes option, which is most of them, takes the three details on this page. A MAG box takes none of them, because it runs from a portal address bound to its MAC. A few players that only read playlists, such as VLC, Kodi and Smart IPTV, take the M3U link from the same message. Where an app offers both Xtream Codes and M3U, choose Xtream Codes: it fetches the channels, the program guide and the films and series in one go.

Get the login on your phone

  2. Find the Xtream option inside the app

Every player names it a little differently. In IPTV Smarters, look for Login with Xtream Codes API. In TiViMate it is Xtream Codes login, reached through Add playlist. MyTVOnline on a Formuler offers it as an alternative to the portal. Other players shorten it to Xtream, Xtream API or simply API. If all you can find is a field for a playlist URL, the app only speaks M3U, and the M3U guide is the one to follow.

  3. Type the server URL first, and read it back

The server URL is the address of the SWIVTV server your account lives on. It starts with http://, then the host name, then a colon and the port number, the same shape as http://example.com:8080. Nothing comes after the port: no slash, no extra words. Most failed logins trace back to this field, usually because the port went missing or a character was misread. On a TV keyboard, type it slowly and read it back against your WhatsApp message before moving on.

  4. Then the username and the password

Both are case sensitive, so a capital typed as a small letter makes a different password. Watch for characters that look alike on a TV screen: a zero and a capital O, the number one and a small l. If the device lets you paste from your phone, check for a space at the end, which copying from a chat can add. The profile or playlist name some apps ask for is only a label, so call it something whoever watches will recognize, such as Living room.

  5. Save, then let the account fill in

Once you save, the app downloads the channel list, the films and series and the program guide by itself. The guide data lives on the same server, at its xmltv.php address with your credentials, but an Xtream login fetches it for you, so there is nothing more to paste. Across 25,000+ channels the first load can take a few minutes, and the guide is often the last part to finish.

  6. Check it opens without asking again

Switch the device off and on, then open the app. It should go straight to the channels, with no login form in sight. If it asks for the details again, save the profile once more and make sure it is the one the app opens by default. This is the test that tells you the person watching will never meet these three details.

  7. Keep the details in your WhatsApp chat and nowhere else

The chat where the login arrived is the right home for it. You can find it in seconds when a second TV needs setting up, a job of about a minute with the details at hand, or when your partner gets a new tablet. Do not copy them onto paper by the TV, into a shared family note or onto the card you leave behind. Anyone holding all three has the account.

  8. Know what the login allows before you use it twice

There is no limit on installs: every television, phone and tablet in the household can carry the same three details. What the plan limits is how many play at once, one, two, three or five streams depending on the tier, so a two-person home watching in separate rooms needs at least two. One account is for one household, which is in the terms. If your parent lives elsewhere, order them their own plan from your phone; that login arrives in your chat just the same.

  9. Leave the card, with no login on it

On the card next to the TV go the things the person watching can safely do: restart the device, restart the router, then message SWIVTV on WhatsApp at +212 663 813 479, or message you. Support can look up the account from their side, so nobody ever needs to read a password aloud over the phone. That is why the three details can stay entirely with you.

  10. Hand over, and ask them to show you the channels

The final check is not about the login at all, which is the point. Give the remote back and ask the person watching to open the app and show you their channels. If they get there without a single field to fill in, the Xtream login has done its job and disappeared, which is exactly where it should stay.

The snags, and how to clear them

Login failed, or wrong username or password

Usually a character problem. Enter the password once more by hand on the remote instead of pasting it, check the capitals, and look for the look-alikes: zero and O, one and l. If the details are certainly right and the app still refuses, the plan may have reached its end date; renew on WhatsApp and the same details work again. Support can tell you which of the two it is.

The login is accepted, but no channels appear

The server URL is the usual cause, most often a missing port or something typed after it. Open the profile, compare the address with your WhatsApp message, correct it and save. If it matches exactly, refresh the channel list, or log out of the profile and log in again. Still empty? Message support with a photo of the screen.

The app wants an M3U URL instead

Some older players only read playlists. That is not a problem: the M3U link in your activation message holds exactly the same account, packaged as one long address of the shape http://server:port/get.php?username=…&password=…, which goes into the playlist field. If the player separately asks for a guide address, it is the same server with xmltv.php and your details attached.

A second TV stops the first one

If two screens in the home play at once and one of them stops or refuses, the plan's stream limit has been reached. A one-stream plan plays on one screen at a time, however many devices it is installed on. Either watch one at a time or ask support on WhatsApp about a plan with more streams.

Everything stopped on the renewal date

Plans do not renew by themselves, so on the end date the app shows an expiry notice or empty lists. Renew over WhatsApp, from your own phone if you are the one paying, and the same server URL, username and password come back to life within minutes. Nothing needs retyping on any device.

This login also works in these players

Have the login in your WhatsApp first

It arrives under 15 minutes after you pay, so the whole install fits in one sitting. A month costs $15 and a full year $69, with all 25,000+ channels either way.

Xtream Codes login: quick answers

Is it legal to use an Xtream Codes login?

The format is neutral: it is simply a way to hand an app a server address, a username and a password, and mainstream apps in the big app stores use it. The legal question sits elsewhere, with whether the service providing the channels has the rights to them, and the answer varies by service and by country. Our article on IPTV legality goes through it in more detail.

Xtream login or M3U link: which one should I use?

The Xtream login, wherever an app offers it. Both are the same account in different forms. The Xtream Codes login is three separate details, and apps that accept it also fetch the guide and the films and series by themselves. The M3U link is a single long web address with the username and password inside it, meant for players that only read playlists.

Can my parents use my login in their own home?

No. One account is for one household, and that is in the terms. Your parents' home gets its own plan, which you can order and pay for from your phone, with the login sent to your WhatsApp chat. You then install it on their TV, and the renewal date is yours to keep in your calendar, since nothing renews by itself.

I have lost the message with my login. What now?

Scroll back through your WhatsApp chat with SWIVTV first, since the details arrived there when the plan went live. If the chat was deleted, message support from the same number and they will help you get the details again. It is one more reason to keep that chat rather than copying the login somewhere else.

Do the details change when I renew?

No. Renewing keeps the same server URL, username and password, so every device you set up starts working again as it was, with nothing to retype. If you are ever sent new details, they arrive in your WhatsApp chat like the first ones, and each device needs them entered once.
